The College of Acupuncturists of Alberta has the authority to approve acupuncture education programs. Individuals who obtain a diploma from these programs satisfy section 3(a)(1) and 3(b)(1) of the Acupuncturist Professional Regulation.

There are currently four(4) Acupuncture Education Programs approved by the College of Acupuncturists in Alberta.
