Dear CAAA Members:

The Canadian Alliance of Regulatory Bodies for Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists (CARB-TCMPA), which consists of five provincial regulatory bodies for Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists, is updating the competency requirements for registration at entry-to-practise.

Competencies are abilities that registrants must possess in order to practice safely, effectively and ethically.  These abilities are trained and assessed in education programs and tested in the registration examinations.

It is important that the competency requirements reflect current practice needs.  Therefore, the College and Association of Acupuncturists of Alberta (the CAAA) is requested to circulate this survey to registered acupuncturists in Alberta. The survey is anonymous and is not intended in any way to assess your personal knowledge and skills, but to provide guidance for developing future training and registration expectations.

This survey is available in three languages at the link below.

English – https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SHJSLCM

French – https://fr.surveymonkey.com/r/SBZ5862

Chinese – https://zh.surveymonkey.com/r/SBW6SB3

Completion of the survey may take up to an hour, and the survey will be closed on Monday, November 13, 2017. Please complete the survey by then.  Thank you in advance for your participation in this important project.

Sincerely,

College and Association of Acupuncturists of Alberta
